Yesterday we caught Caitriona Balfe at the Ford v Ferrari premiere during TIFF 2019. She rocked a silver dress by Karla Welch and looked classy and sultry at the same time. Makeup by Mary Wiles, all on point.

Caitriona Balfe used to be a top model. She started at 19; after signing her first contract, Balfe raised money for charity at a local mall. Her modeling career took off with campaigns for Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, DKNY, Burberry, Louis Vuitton, H&M, Marc Jacobs, Valentino, Cacharel, Roberto Cavalli, Givenchy, Hugo Boss, Armani, Dries van Noten, Calvin Klein and Chanel. Her pics even graced Vogue and Elle covers.

As an actress, Caitriona is known for Mollie Miles in Ford v Ferrari, the story of American engineers and designers led by Carroll Shelby.

Hungry to act, she studied drama at the Dublin Institute of Technology. Her first film in 2009 was the documentary Picture Me: A Model’s Diary. After that she tried Thrillers, shorts, and fiction. Big moves include Now You See Me and the action thriller Escape Plan with Stallone and Schwarzenegger.
