Joan Elizabeth Osborne, born July 8, ’62, is an American singer, songwriter, and music interpreter, mixin’ it up in pop, soul, R&B, blues, and country. She’s most known for her take on Eric Bazilian’s tune “One of Us.” She’s hit the road with Motown’s Funk Brothers and was spotlighted in their doc, Standing in the Shadows of Motown.
