Meet Singa Gätgens, born April 1, 1975, a German actress and TV host who kicked things off as the first host of KiKa, the kids’ TV channel.
Born in Hamburg, Germany, she’s been in the industry since her teens, playin’ “Bimbo” in the ARD kids’ series Neues vom Süderhof from 1991 to 1993. She really got folks talkin’ with her roles in Gegen den Wind (1995), Schloss Einstein (1998), and Beutolomäus (2001).
