    These films are no longer made in the US. There used to be a bunch of mediocre and poor-quality films released every year that were watchable almost entirely due to the sex and nudity. Now, something like "Embrace of the Vampire" would be made, but it would be devoid of nudity and therefore largely unwatchable.

      They have been replaced by "diversity" films full of trans weirdos, where everybody is queer and the straight people are the freaks. Of course these films waste money, but they are "important for representation." Even if no one wants to watch them.
