Mayim Chaya Bialik (born December 12, 1975) is an American actress, author, and neuroscientist. She starred as the lead in NBC’s Blossom from 1991 to 1995. Since 2010, she’s been playin’ Amy Farrah Fowler, a neuroscientist like herself, on CBS’s The Big Bang Theory. She got nominated four times for a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series and snagged the Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in 2016 and 2018.
