Selena Gomez had stretch marks when she was quite slim, imagine what it will be like now. But however she's managed it, I commend her. I wonder how she handled this with her kidney transplant and lupus (which was often blamed for her weight gain).
I'll accept stretch marks as long as she regains her old voice. Watching her on "Only Murders..." has been a chore; she sounds like a squealing pig trying to speak. Ten times more irritating voice than Fran Drescher. I immediately googled what happened to Selena Gomez's voice, only to find a billion others had already done the same.
Fully agree with the voice. She even makes reference to her Mabel's Mumbly voice in S4E1 when she reads the brief for the film being made about them. My own theory is that she is using medication that affects her speech, as I have experienced this myself.
Yeah, I think she said so herself—that it's the lupus medication. Apparently, it also causes her to retain a lot of fluid, which is part of the perceived weight gain. It's unclear whether she's thin here due to a break from medication or if she's found a more permanent way to keep it off.
