Sophie Cunningham, born August 16, 1996 in Columbia, Missouri, is an American pro basketball player for the Indiana Fever.
She crushed it at Rock Bridge High School and the University of Missouri, where she became the all-time leading scorer and grabbed SEC Freshman of the Year in 2016. The Phoenix Mercury took her 13th overall in the 2019 draft, and she stuck with them until a trade in 2024. At 6’1″, she’s got that killer competitive edge, deadly shooting, and leads hard on and off the court.
