Alysha was the WNBA Defensive Player of the Year in 2020. She was a starter on two WNBA championship teams with the Seattle Storm, playing alongside Breanna Stewart and Sue Bird. They played in Seattle at Key Arena, and during the play-offs, the games attracted crowds of 12,000. She led the NCAA in scoring in her final year at Middle Tennessee State. She signed a 3-year contract as a Free Agent with the Washington Mystics before the 2021 season (which she couldn’t play in due to an Achilles injury) for $540,000 ($180,000 a year for 3 months’ work, fully guaranteed). She’s 5’10” (not 6’1”). When she’s finished playing, she’ll get a good coaching job and do well. I wouldn’t worry too much about Alysha.
