However, everyone needs fat to live and even skinny people have fat cells. Therefore, anyone who has fat cells can have cellulite; even thin people can have stretch marks and cellulite. Having a heavier weight obviously makes someone more prone to this happening.
Also, women's skin is more susceptible to it than men's. This increases the likelihood that a woman who is of average weight or even less still has some appearance of cellulite.
Saying someone is fat because they have any cellulite at all is almost like saying every woman and nearly every person on the entire planet is fat. Correlation is not causation.
