Chelsea Clinton was born February 27, 1980 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She’s the only kid of former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
She grew up in public schools until her dad became president, then switched to Sidwell Friends School in D.C. She got her undergrad from Stanford, then master’s from Oxford and Columbia’s Mailman School of Public Health. In 2014, she finished her PhD in international relations at Oxford.
She married investment banker Marc Mezvinsky in 2010. They have a daughter and a son. From 2011 to 2014, she was a special correspondent for NBC News. Now she works with the Clinton Foundation and Clinton Global Initiative, sittin’ on the board since 2011.
She’s also been at McKinsey & Company, Avenue Capital Group, and New York University. She sits on boards for the School of American Ballet, Common Sense Media, Weill Cornell Medical College, and IAC/InterActiveCorp. In 2007 and 2008, she campaigned hard for her mom’s Democratic presidential run. She introduced Hillary at both the 2008 and 2016 Democratic National Conventions.
