Body doubles are the fucking worst. If you're an actor or actress and don't want to do nudity, don't take roles that require it. It's like hiring a crying double because you can't cry on screen. If I were the director, I would have said no body double or you're fired, simple as that. Do the job you're being paid for.
That is NOT the only reason why body doubles are used. Sometimes body doubles are used even when the actress is willing because even if they are beautiful, the specific body part being shown is not their best, and the DIRECTOR makes the call for the body double.

The first thought that crossed my mind when I read the title was "Body double." At first glance, I thought "Yep, body double."
They use someone like Emma Watson's "nude scene" to generate a lot of hype and gain plenty of free publicity across the internet, only for us to find some random girl who doesn't look anything like Emma in a dark room, without revealing anything.
