Jessica Stam was born April 23, 1986 in Kincardine, Ontario, Canada. She got scouted at a Tim Hortons and won the LA Model Look contest in 2002. Steven Meisel helped launch her career with big campaigns.

In 2006, she walked 64 shows in New York, Milan, and Paris. Marc Jacobs named the “Stam” bag after her in 2005. She landed the May 2007 American Vogue cover as one of the “World’s Next Top Models.”

She’s worked with Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, and Victoria’s Secret. She’s done charity work and co-designed with Rachel Roy. She now lives in Maui with her family.
