You might wonder why people watch that rubbish, but how she became a celebrity is quite legitimate and obvious. She was on TV. The sex tape came later and made her a household name.

I do agree with you on that note, at least she has an actual talent. But it's what she creates with that talent that angers me so much. Also, look up Rebecca Francescatti, a songwriter whose former producer and boyfriend went on to work with Lady Gaga and completely ripped off a song she had written. He still had the recording session files on his computer, and he and Gaga rearranged it and passed it off as original. The songwriter sued Gaga for it, but now Gaga is suing her.
